I can’t see my Solana on Ledger Live — What to do?

If you don’t add a Solana account in Ledger Live or sent Solana to your Ledger account via an unsupported network, you won’t be able to see it in Ledger Live.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2. Ledger Live for MAC

3. Ledger Live for Android

But fret not, this article describes how you can troubleshoot this issue and find your missing Solana (SOL) token.

Before you start

  • Download and install Ledger Live on your computer. If already installed, update it to the latest version.
  • Update your Ledger device to the latest firmware.
  • Install the Solana (SOL) app on your Ledger device, If already installed, update it to the latest version.
  • Add Solana account in Ledger Live.
    • To do this: open Ledger Live
    • Go to Accounts.
    • Click on Add Accounts.
    • Click on the box to open a drop-down list. Search for Solana (SOL) and click on it.
    • Wait for the list of accounts to appear. Tip on the checkmark beside a new account and click on add account.
    • Now your Solana account should be visible with your assets. If not proceed with the below solutions.

Connect your Ledger device to a third-party wallet

Alternatively, if you send your Solana (SOL) token via an unsupported, you can access your Ledger Solana (SOL) account through the Solflare wallet.

  • Close the Ledger Live app.
  • Go to the Solflare website.
  • Click on Access Wallet.
  • Select Ledger.
  • Connect your Ledger device to your computer and open the Solana app. Wait till the application displays ready on the screen. Click Continue then select your Ledger device model and click Connect.
  • Choose a password and click Continue.
  • Choose a derivation path with your Solana (SOL) tokens. In most cases, it’s always the m/44’/501’/0′ derivation path.
  • Choose your Solana (SOL) account then click on Continue.
  • Now your Ledger Solana (SOL) account should be visible with the correct available balance.
