There are several reasons why you are unable to see your Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account in Ledger Live. One might be because you do not have an active Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account in Ledger Live, therefore, you can’t access your BNB account.

This article guide will show you how to find your missing BNB (BSC) account or token in Ledger Live.
Create a new Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account in Ledger Live.
- Open Ledger Live.
- Connect your Ledger device
- Open the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) app on your Ledger device
- Locate the add accounts tab and click on it.
- Once the BSC account is added.
- You should be able to see your missing Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account and assets in it.
You have a non-supported BEP20 token balance
If you sent a token to your Ledger account using the BEP20 network, you probably won’t be able to see it on your wallet as this network is not supported on Ledger.
Before you start
- Update Ledger Live to the latest version.
- Update your Ledger device to the latest firmware version.
- Update the Ethereum (ETH) app installed on your Ledger device to the latest version.
- Update the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) app installed on your Ledger device to the latest version.
- Close the Ledger Live app before accessing Metamask.
Here’s how to do this.
- Download and install the MetaMask extension on your computer browser.
- Create a new MetaMask wallet.
- Now connect your MetaMask account to the BSC network. You can do this by going to chainlist.org. Locate the BSC network and click on add network.
- Now open the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) app on your Ledger device and connect your Ledger device to MetaMask and select your ETH account from the account list.
- Switch to the BSC network on MetaMask, You should now be able to see your BNB token in your MetaMask Ledger account.
Once you’ve seen your missing BNB on MetaMask, you can choose to send it back to Binance where you can withdraw it to Ledger Live via a supported network.
