The US Dollar Electronic or USDe for short is an ERC-20 token available on Ethereum blockchain and not a native token that is supported on Ledger Live. Nevertheless, you can still store USDe tokens on your Ledger device using Ledger Live and the Ethereum wallet.

Step #1: Initialize the Set Up of Your Ledger Device
- Set up your Ledger device PIN if you have not done so and keep your recovery phrase locked up in a safe place.
- Make sure that the firmware of your preferred Ledger device is the current version. You can verify using the Ledger Live app.
Step #2: Install Ethereum App
- Launch Ledger Live then connect your preferred Ledger device.
- Scroll over to the Manager tab.
- In the app catalog, search for and find the Ethereum app.
- Click or tap on the Install button.
Step #3: Launch ledger Live to Add Ethereum Account
- Launch the Ledger Live app and scroll over to the Accounts tab.

- Click or tap on the Add Account then choose Ethereum.
- Follow the on-screen prompts instructing you on how to connect your Ethereum wallet.
Step #4: Confirm USDe Token Support
- Make sure USDe is compatible with the ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token.
- Where you are uncertain, you can verify on Etherscan or any other reliable blockchain explorer.
Step #5: Transfer USDe Tokens to Ethereum Address
- Launch Ledger Live then copy out the Ethereum wallet address.
- You can now use the Ethereum wallet address to transfer USDe tokens from a different wallet or any exchange.
Step #6: Get on Ledger Live to Manage USDe Tokens
- Launch Ledger Live and scroll to your Ethereum account after you transfer USDe tokens.
- Where the USDe tokens do not automatically show up in your balance, you can click or tap on the Manage Tokens tab then search for USDe. Alternatively, you can manually add USDe just by inputting its contract address which can be found on Etherscan.
Step #7: Ratify the Transaction
- Launch Ledger Live and go to your Ethereum account to view your USDe tokens.
- Ratify your USDe balance to ensure that the transfer was indeed a success.
- Now your USDe tokens are securely and safely stored by your preferred Ledger device.
