How to Store UNI on Ledger Live

The simple step-by-step guide below illustrates how to store UNI (Uniswap) tokens on Ledger Live using your preferred Ledger hardware wallet and Ethereum network since UNI is not natively supported on Ledger, but actually an ERC-20 token operational on the Ethereum blockchain.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

Step #1: Set Up Your Preferred Ledger Device

  • Also, install as well as configure your preferred Ledger device (Stax, Nano S, or Nano X) if you haven’t done so before.

Step #2: Install Ethereum App

  • Launch the Ledger Live app then scroll to My Ledger tab.
  • Under the app catalog section, search for, find, and install the Ethereum app.

Step #3: Create Ethereum Account

  • While still in the Ledger Live app, click or tap on the Accounts tab.
  • Under the drop-down menu, click or tap on Add Account then choose Ethereum.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to successfully create an Ethereum account.

Step #4: Send UNI Tokens

  • While in your newly created Ethereum account, copy out the Ethereum contract address.
  • Send UNI tokens to the copied out Ethereum address from another wallet or exchange.

Step #5: Ratify UNI Token Balance

  • Open the Ledger Live app and navigate to the Accounts tab.
  • Under the Accounts tab, click or tap on your Ethereum account.
  • Where your UNI tokens are not visible, enable or toggle on the Manage Tokens option in the Ethereum tokens section.
  • Now your transferred UNI tokens should be securely and safely stored on Ledger Live.
  • Be sure to double-check addresses at all times before making a transfer.
