As of January 2025, PENGU tokens are native to the Solana blockchain. While Ledger Live doesn’t directly support Solana tokens, you can securely store and manage your PENGU tokens using your Ledger hardware wallet in combination with a compatible third-party wallet.

Here’s a straightforward guide to help you set this up:
Step #1: Set Up Ledger Device
- Connect Ledger hardware wallet (e.g. Stax, Nano S Plus or Nano X) to a computer or mobile device.
- Ensure device’s firmware is up-to-date.
Step #2: Install Solana App on Ledger
- Open Ledger Live and scroll to My Ledger.
- Select the Solana app in the app catalog section.
- Click or tap on the Install button (next to the app) to add the Solana app to the Ledger device.
Step #3: Choose Compatible Third-Party Wallet
- Select third-party wallet compatible with Ledger devices (e.g. Phantom or Solflare).
Step #4: Connect Ledger Device to Third-Party Wallet
- Open third-party wallet application.
- Select option to connect or import hardware wallet.
- Follow on-screen instructions to establish connection with Ledger devices.
Step #5: Manage PENGU Tokens
- Once connected, the third-party wallet will display the Solana account associated with the Ledger device.
- Use interface to send, receive, and manage PENGU tokens securely.
Security Tips:
- Ensure you verify transaction details on Ledger devices before proceeding with the transaction.
- Secure recovery phrase and never disclose it to anyone.
- Always update Ledger firmware, Ledger Live app and third-party wallet to latest versions
