How to Store OKB on Ledger Live

Here’s how to store OKB tokens on Ledger Live using your preferred Ledger device. Note that OKB is not native to Ledger Live, but instead it is an ERC-20 token operational on the Ethereum network.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2. Ledger Live for MAC

3. Ledger Live for Android

Step #1: Initiate the Set Up of Your Preferred Ledger Device

  • Start by connecting your preferred Ledger device like Nano S, Nano X or Stax to your mobile device or personal computer.
  • Make sure that your preferred Ledger device firmware is the latest version. 

Step #2: Download and Install the Ledger Live App

  • You can download the official Ledger Live app directly from the Ledger website.
  • Make sure you conclude the initial Ledger device setup if you have not done so before now. 

Step #3: Install Ethereum App

  • Launch Ledger Live and navigate to My Ledger tab.
  • Locate the Ethereum app and click or tap on the Install button beside it.
  • Make sure your Ledger device is connected and the PIN unlocked. 

Step #4: Launch Ledger Live and Add Ethereum Account 

  • Launch Ledger Live and navigate to the Accounts tab.
  • Click or tap on Add Account.
  • In the app Catalog, select Ethereum then adhere to the on-screen prompts. 

Step #5: Store OKB Tokens 

  • OKB are ERC-20 tokens operational on the Ethereum network. Therefore, OKB tokens make use of an Ethereum wallet address for any transactions.
  • Launch Ledger Live then go to your added Ethereum account.
  • Click or tap the Receive button.
  • Scan the QR code or copy out the wallet address as you will make use of this address to send OKB tokens from a wallet or exchange.

Notes:

  • Before you use or share the wallet address, make sure you verify it on your preferred Ledger device.
  • Make sure your recovery phrase is kept safe and secure offline.
  • Keep your Ledger Live app, and Ledger device firmware up-to-date at all times as it helps to boost security. 

Now your OKB tokens are stored in a safe and secure manner on Ledger Live using your preferred Ledger hardware wallet.
