How to Store MNT on Ledger Live

Good news as Mantle (MNT) is now compatible with Ledger hardware wallets, enabling seamless management through the Ledger Live platform. 

To get started, users will need a few essential tools: 

  • a Ledger hardware wallet (such as the Ledger Nano S Plus or Nano X),
  • the Ledger Live application, and the Mantle (MNT) app.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to store MNT on Ledger Live.

Step #1: Start Your Ledger Device

  • Connect Ledger hardware wallet to a computer or mobile device.
  • Make sure the device’s firmware is up to date.

Step #2: Install Ledger Live

  • Open Ledger Live and follow on-screen prompts to set up the device.

Step #3: Install Mantle (MNT) App

  • Scroll to My Ledger section in Ledger Live.
  • Search for and find the Mantle (MNT) app in the app catalog.
  • Click or tap on the Install button to add the Mantle  app to Ledger device.

Step #4: Add Mantle Account in Ledger Live

  • Open Mantle app on Ledger device.
  • Go to the Accounts tab in Ledger Live and click or tap on Add Account.
  • Select Mantle (MNT) and follow prompts to add a Mantle account.

Step #5: Receive MNT Tokens

  • Click or tap Receive within your Mantle account in Ledger Live.
  • Copy unique Mantle address.
  • Use Mantle address to transfer MNT tokens from exchanges or other wallets to Ledger devices.

Important Tips

  • Always download Ledger Live and firmware updates from the official Ledger website.
  • Protect recovery phrases by storing it offline in a secure location.
  • Never share recovery phrase with anyone.
  • Regularly update Ledger Live and device’s firmware to benefit from latest security features.
