Follow the steps below to store KCS (KuCoin Shares) token on Ledger Live using your Ledger hardware wallet and Ethereum blockchain.
Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:
1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11
2. Ledger Live for MAC
3. Ledger Live for Android
Step #1: Set Up Your Preferred Ledger Device
- Connect your preferred Ledger hardware wallet (Stax, Nano S, or Nano X) to your personal computer or mobile device.
- Make sure you fully set up Ledger Live and ensure that the firmware of your wallet as well as the Ledger Live app are up-to-date.
Step #2: Install Ledger Live
- Go to the official Ledger website to download the latest version of the Ledger Live app.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install the app.
Step #3: Install Ethereum App
- Launch Ledger Live then scroll to the Manager tab.
- In the app Catalog, search for, find then select Ethereum app.
- Click or tap on the Install button next to the app icon to install the Ethereum app on your Ledger device.
Step #4: Add KCS to MetaMask
- Add KCS to MataMask as it is an ERC-20 token. Make use of the contract address below;

Step #5: Connect MetaMask to Ledger
- Select Connect Hardware Wallet on MetaMask then click or tap on Ledger.

Step #6: Transfer KCS
- You can now send KCS tokens to your Ledger-MetaMask wallet.
- Now your KCS tokens should be securely and safely stored in your Ledger hardware wallet via MetaMask.
