How to Store IMX on Ledger Live

The guide below shows you how to store IMX (Immutable X) tokens on Ledger Live.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2. Ledger Live for MAC

3. Ledger Live for Android

Step #1: Start by Setting Up Your Preferred Ledger Device

  • Start by connecting your preferred Ledger device like Stax, Nano S, or Nano Xto your personal computer or mobile device.
  • Make sure the firmware of your preferred Ledger device is up-to-date.

Step #2: Download and Install Ledger Live 

  • Visit the official Ledger website for the latest version of Ledger Live app.
  • Make sure you finish the set up protocol, especially if it’s your first time running Ledger Live.

Step #3: Install Ethereum App 

  • Launch Ledger Live then scroll to My Ledger tab.
  • Search for and find the Ethereum app under the app catalog section.
  • Click or tap on the Instal button beside the app icon while your device is both connected and unlocked

Step #4: Add Ethereum Account

  • Launch Ledger Live then scroll to the Accounts tab then select the Add Account option.
  • Select Ethereum then follow the on-screen prompts showing how to add Ethereum.

Step #5: Transfer IMX to Ledger Ethereum Address

  • Note that IMX is an ERC-20 token that is stored on the Ethereum blockchain.
  • While in the Ledger Live app, choose your added Ethereum account then click or tap on the Receive button in order to obtain your Ethereum address.
  • Copy out the Ethereum address then make use of the address in transferring IMX cryptocurrencies from a different wallet or an exchange.

Step #6: Monitor Your IMX in Ledger 

  • Once you have completed the transfer you should be able to monitor the IMX tokens in your Ethereum account on Ledger Live.

Notes:

  • Make sure you verify your wallet on your preferred Ledger device at all times before you confirm a transaction. 
  • Make sure your recovery phrase is kept secure and safe offline.
  • Make sure the firmware of your preferred Ledger device and the Ledger Live app are the latest versions available.

Now your IMX tokens are safely and securely stored using your preferred Ledger device.
