Note that Ledger Live does not currently support direct storage for ICP tokens, but you can store ICP using a third-party wallet like Stoic Wallet, Plug Wallet, or NNS App together with your Ledger device.
Step-by-Step Procedures for storing ICP on Ledger Live through a Third-party Wallet:
Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:
1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11
2. Ledger Live for MAC
3. Ledger Live for Android
Step #1: Initiate the Set Up of Your Ledger Device
- Make sure you set up a unique PIN code and recovery phrase.
- Update Ledger Live and your Ledger device firmware to newer versions.
Step #2: Install ICP-Compatible Wallet
- Download and install Stoic Wallet (or Plug Wallet/NNS App) from the official website or browser extension (Chrome/Firefox).
Step #3: Connect Ledger to Wallet
- Open Stoic Wallet (or any chosen wallet) and select Connect Hardware Wallet.
- Choose Ledger and follow instructions to connect.
- Install ICP App on your preferred Ledger device if not already installed.

Step #4: Allow Wallet to Connect Ledger
- Follow given instructions to securely pair your Ledger device with the wallet.
Step #5: Move ICP Tokens to Ledger Wallet
- Copy ICP address from Stoic Wallet.
- Start transfer from platform holding ICP tokens (e.g., exchange or another wallet).
- Verify the transaction and account for network fees.

Step #6: Authenticate ICP Storage
- Confirm ICP tokens appear in the wallet, safely stored and managed through your preferred Ledger device.
- Double-check balance in Stoic Wallet (or another third-party wallet) to ensure successful transfer.
With this setup, your ICP tokens will be stored safely in your Ledger device, taking advantage of the third-party wallet to access them.
