How to Store ICP on Ledger Live

Note that Ledger Live does not currently support direct storage for ICP tokens, but you can store ICP using a third-party wallet like Stoic Wallet, Plug Wallet, or NNS App together with your Ledger device.

Step-by-Step Procedures for storing ICP on Ledger Live through a Third-party Wallet:

Step #1: Initiate the Set Up of Your Ledger Device

  • Make sure you set up a unique PIN code and recovery phrase.
  • Update Ledger Live and your Ledger device firmware to newer versions.

Step #2: Install ICP-Compatible Wallet

  • Download and install Stoic Wallet (or Plug Wallet/NNS App) from the official website or browser extension (Chrome/Firefox).

Step #3: Connect Ledger to Wallet

  • Open Stoic Wallet (or any chosen wallet) and select Connect Hardware Wallet.
  • Choose Ledger and follow instructions to connect.
  • Install ICP App on your preferred Ledger device if not already installed.

Step #4: Allow Wallet to Connect Ledger

  • Follow given instructions to securely pair your Ledger device with the wallet.
