How to Store GALA on Ledger Live

This guide shows how you can store GALA on Ledger Live using your preferred Ledger hardware wallet in conjunction with the Ethereum network. 

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2. Ledger Live for MAC

3. Ledger Live for Android

Step #1: Set Up the Ledger Live App

  • VIsit the official Ledger website to download the latest version of Ledger Live app.

  • Make sure you fully set up and connect your preferred Ledger hardware wallet (Stax, Nano S, or Nano X).

Step # 2: Install Ethereum App

  • Launch the Ledger Live app then go to the Manager tab.
  • Search for and find the Ethereum app in the app catalog section.
  • Click or tap on the Install button that is beside the app icon.
  • The Ethereum app will be installed on your preferred Ledger device.

Step #3: Add Ethereum Account

  • While in Ledger Live navigate to the Accounts tab then from the drop-down menu select Add Account then Ethereum to create an Ethereum account.

Step #4: Send GALA to Wallet

  • Make use of the Ethereum address on receiving GALA tokens.
  • Make sure you have some ETH to offset transaction and/or GAS fees.
  • Now your GALA tokens should be securely and safely stored on your preferred Ledger hardware wallet.
