How to Store ATOM on Ledger Live

Here’s how to store ATOM on Ledger Live.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2. Ledger Live for MAC

3. Ledger Live for Android

Step #1: Initiate the Set Up of Your Preferred Ledger Device

  • Have your preferred Ledger device (Stax, Nano S, or Nano X) connected to your personal computer or mobile device.
  • Make sure you set up your Ledger device in full and update your firmware as well.

Step #2: Download and Install Ledger Live

  • You can download the latest version of the Ledger Live app from the official Ledger website.

Step #3: Install Cosmos App on Your Preferred Ledger Device

  • Launch Ledger Live and navigate to My Ledger tab.
  • In the app catalog, search for and find Cosmos app.

  • Click or tap on the Install button beside the app.
  • Make sure your preferred Ledger device is both connected and the PIN unlocked when you are installing the Cosmos app. 

Step #4: Add Cosmos (ATOM) Account 

  • Launch Ledger Live and scroll to the Accounts tab.
  • Click or tap on Add Account then choose Cosmos.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to successfully add an account.

Step #5: Receive ATOM Tokens

  • Launch your newly added Cosmos account on the Ledger Live app then click or tap the Receive button.
  • The wallet address will be visible at this point, copy out the address and verify the matching address on your preferred Ledger device. 
  • Send ATOM tokens from either another wallet or an exchange using this address.

Security Tips:

  • Make sure you confirm the wallet address on your preferred Ledger device prior to sharing the address. 
  • Secure your recovery phrase by jotting the phrase and storing it offline.
  • Keep your Ledger Live app and the firmware of your preferred Ledger device updated at all times.

Now your ATOM tokens should be securely and safely stored on Ledger Live.
