If you’re updating your Ledger device and it got stuck on Bootloader, don’t fret, there are ways to fix this issue. This can happen, if there’s an interruption to the Ledger Live connection during an update process, leading your Ledger device to be stuck on the bootloader.

Here’s how to fix this
Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:
1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11
2. Ledger Live for MAC
3. Ledger Live for Android
Ledger Nano S and S Plus
- Make sure that you run Ledger Ledger Live as administrator (Windows)
- Connect your Ledger device.
- In Ledger Live, navigate to the My Ledger tab, If the loader is at 100% and the device stays stuck on Bootloader:
- Hold down the keys “CTRL + R” on your Windows/Linux to restart Ledger Live and start the repair tool once more.
- If you’re using MacOS: Hold down the keys “⌘ + R” to restart Ledger Live and start the repair tool once more.
Ledger Nano X
- Close and restart Ledger Live, then go to My Ledger in Ledger Live to retry the process.
- If the issue persists, try running the Ledger repair tool on another computer.
