Connection error
- Due to different extensions installed in your browser, you may get a connection error on the MEW website.
- Try to remove extensions or connect in Incognito mode (Control + Shift + N/ Command + Shift + N) and close the browser in regular mode.
This guide will help you set up and use MyEtherWallet to manage not supported networks or recover assets sent via the wrong network.
Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

Before you start
- Set up Ledger Live with your Ledger device.
- Ensure your Ledger device runs the latest OS (firmware) version.
- Make sure the latest version of the Ethereum (ETH) app is installed on your Ledger device.
- Get Google Chrome or Firefox.
- To avoid errors in making transactions, enable Blind Signing setting in the ETH app.
Connect to MyEtherWallet
- Go to the MEW wallet website: https://www.myetherwallet.com/.
- Click Access My Wallet.
- Select Hardware wallets -> Ledger.
- Make sure your Ledger device is unlocked and connected to your PC.
- Open the ETH app on your Ledger device.
- In MyEtherWallet select:
- Connecting to: Ethereum
- Derivation path: Ethereum – Ledger Live as shown on the screenshot.
- Click Connect via USB.
- In the dropdown of the addresses, find your address (it should be the first one normally).
- Select Network – Ethereum.
- Connect. If you did everything right, you should see your Ethereum (ETH) account.
Connect via Bluetooth (Nano X Only)
- Go to the MEW wallet website: https://www.myetherwallet.com/.
- Click Access My Wallet.
- Select Hardware wallets -> Ledger.
- Make sure your Ledger device is unlocked.
- Open the ETH app on your Ledger device.
- In MyEtherWallet select:
- Connecting to: Ethereum
- Derivation path: Ethereum – Ledger Live as shown on the screenshot.
- Click Connect via Bluetooth.
- Select your Ledger Nano X in the list of found devices nearby.
- Click Pair.
- At first pairing, you will need to confirm the pairing and pairing code on your Ledger device

- In the dropdown of the addresses, find your address (it should be the first one normally).
- Select Network – Ethereum.
- Connect. If you did everything right, you should see your Ethereum (ETH) account.
