For UTXO-based crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and others, most transactions have two destination addresses. That is the recipient’s address and a change address that belongs to your own account (Sender).

Here’s how this works.
The change address is very useful, especially when a transaction you initiated did not consume all the coins it is spending, then the difference (change) remaining will be automatically sent back to the change address.
For every new transaction you initiate that does not fully consume all the coins it is spending, Ledger Live will generate a new change address where the change will be sent to.
The change address changes every time you initiate a new transaction for UTXO-based crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and others. So, don’t assume that a change address is your receiving address, otherwise, you’ll lose any assets you sent to a change address.
Note: When sending crypto to your receiving address, always verify it on your Ledger Nano device to avoid sending it to a change address.
