How to troubleshoot email verification issues

Haven’t received your Ledger Recover verification email? Your verification link expired?

Find out how to fix email verification issues šŸ‘‡

Follow these steps if you haven’t received the verification email:

  1. Double-check the email you’ve entered to make sure it’s correct.
  2. Check your spam folderā€”the emails can end up there. If thatā€™s the case, add noreply@ledger.com to your allowlist and tap the link to verify your Ledger Recover login.
  3. Wait for one hour. Sometimes emails take longer to be delivered.
  4. If none of this works, go toĀ My Ledger ā†’ Ledger RecoverĀ and tapĀ Didnā€™t receive it? Resend.

ā„¹ļø For now, it’s not possible to change the email address. If you no longer have access to your email, you need to create a new Ledger Recover login, using a different email.

Ledger Recover provided by Coincover is a paid, ID-based key recovery service that provides a backup for your Secret Recovery Phrase. If you lose or don’t have access to your Secret Recovery Phrase, the service allows you to securely restore your private keys using a Ledger device. If you’re not receiving a verification email, it’s possible you’re not a Ledger Recover provided by a Coincover subscriber. Double-check that you have been paying monthly. If you’re not getting billed by Ledger Trust Services, then you are likely not a Ledger Recover provided by Coincover subscriber.

I am not able to log into Ledger Live with my email

Newer versions of the Ledger Liveā„¢ app now feature a ‘Log in to Ledger Recoverā„¢’ option during the initial step of the installation process. This option prompts you to enter your Ledger Recoverā„¢ credentials and is specifically designed for subscribers of Ledger Recoverā„¢, an optional paid service for Ledgerā„¢ users. If you are not a Ledger Recoverā„¢ subscriber, please choose the ‘Get started’ option instead. This will guide you through the standard setup process for Ledger Liveā„¢. Note that the regular setup does not require an email and password, as Ledger Liveā„¢ is a local application with data stored exclusively on your device.

I received the Ledger Recover verification email, but the link isnā€™t working.

Some customers have reported issues with the verification link when using the standalone Outlook app. To resolve this, try accessing the email through the web version of Outlook instead.
