Create your Ledger Recover login

1. Open the Ledger Live app
2. My Ledger in the bottom right corner
3. Select Start your free trial
4. Tap Subscribe. Get 1 month free.
5. Learn what is required to subscribe to Ledger Recover.
6. Tap Create my login.

8. Select the country where your passport or national identity card was issued. Check the complete list of supported countries and document types for the service here.
9. Tap Confirm issuing country.
10. Select and confirm the country for your billing address.
11. Enter your email address. You’ll receive an email with the verification link.
12. Open the email on your phone and tap the verification link.
13. Create your password.

You’ve successfully created your login.

Add credit or debit card

1. Tap Add my card.
2. 
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to finalize the process of adding your card.

You will only be billed after your first free month.

Verify your identity

You’ll have to take a photo of your identity document so prepare one. You’ll also have to record a video of your face.

1. Tap Verify my identity.
2. Select the issuing country to see which document is accepted.
3. Submit the photo of your identity document.
4. Record and upload the video.

Wait until your identity is verified.

Create backup for your Secret Recovery Phrase

1. Connect your Ledger Nano X to your smartphone via Bluetooth. 
2. Tap Connect my Ledger.
3. 
4. Power on and enter your PIN to unlock the device.
5. Press both buttons on your device to allow a secure connection to Ledger.
6. Check your details and press both buttons on your device to confirm them.

After your Ledger device is connected, the backup for your Secret Recovery Phrase will be secured. Keep your Ledger Nano X connected at all times.
